Dr. V. Ravichandran, C.E.O of Diya Systems / GlowTouch Technologies was conferred with the most prestigious “Eminent Aloysian Alumni Award 2018” during the official ceremony organized by the St. Aloysius College Alumni Association (SACAA). The ceremony was held at Fr. L. F. Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block, St. Aloysius College, Mangalore on March 25, 2018.

Dr. Ravichandran was selected by a Jury of 5 members for this coveted honor, due to his exemplary services in the field of Education, IT/ITES and Philanthropic Services to the Society for over 30 years. The Award and the Citation were handed over by Rev. Fr. Dionysius Vaz SJ, Rector of St. Aloysius Institutions and Patron, SACAA, Rev. Fr. Praveen Martis SJ, Principal, St. Aloysius College and Director, SACAA and Mr. Archibald Menezes, Convener & President, SACAA. Mr. Edmund Frank, Member of the Organizing Committee, SACAA and a dear friend of Dr. Ravichandran, read out the citation in his honor. Mr. Jayaram Bhat, Dr. K. V Rao, Mr. Joseph Gonsalves and Mr. Jeevan Saldanha were the other Honorees and Dignitaries present on the Dias who were also conferred with this Award.

Dr. Ravichandran in his thanksgiving speech, first and foremost dedicated this Award to his wife Mrs. Indira Ravichandran, his parents and his children Mrs. Vidya Ravichandran and Mr. Hari Ravichandran. Dr. Ravichandran mentioned that he was very honored and privileged to receive this prestigious Award from his Alma Mater and be a part of the illustrious list of eminent personalities such as Padma Bhushan Mr. K. K Venugopal, Padma Bhushan Mr. K. V Kamath, Lokayukta Dr. N. Santosh Hegde, Dr. Deviprasad Shetty, Mr. Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Dr Shantharam Shetty, Prof. B. S. Raman and so on, who have been honored with this distinguished honor previously. Dr. Ravichandran promised that he would continue giving his best to the Industry and Society and strive for excellence in everything he does.
